First up, The Cool Catz.
This is good party hip-hop, the dances would be awesome if they played this kind of music. Great beat, good lyrics, and i love the vocal style. Seriously, dont listen to this and try to stand still.

Completely different style and direction. This is a perfect morning song, I use it to get myself going all the time. Awesome percussion, and I just love the vocals on the chorus.

Good band playing in davis alert!!

The Islands will be playing at the Oddfellow's Lounge on 415 2nd st. on Thursday October 22 at 7:30pm (it may be 8, pretty sure its 730 though)with . It's all ages, and tickets are $10 for non-UCD students. These guys are really good, and its a great chance to see a band play in Davis.
