Quick Post: Zion I and some more Blakroc

Heavy homework load tonight, so just a couple quick MP3s.

A fantastic track from Zion I, the band I almost got to see play this coming Sunday (damn 18+ concerts). They're performing with a full live band too, which I totally love, so I'm very sad to miss it.

And just because I love Blakroc so much, here is another track.

Blakroc

Blakroc is the epic collaboration of The Black Keys, a fantastic indie-rock/blues band, and many of today's best rappers. It's a blues/hip hop thing that ends up coming off very well. Here's a video of my favorite track and a few good mp3s.
PS: Ain't Nothing Like You is instantly awesome, but the other tracks are definitely growers. If you're into hip-hop at all, give the rest of them a couple listens before you dismiss them.
PPS: Mos Def is a beast.

Ain't Nothing Like you (Hoochie Coo) (feat. Jim Jones and Mos Def) - Blakroc (without a doubt the best song on the album)

Hope You're Happy (Feat. Billy Danze, Nicole Wray & Q-Tip) - Blakroc

On the Vista (feat. Mos Def) - Blakroc
